Empower Me! Institute™ has an open enrollment policy. This institute was created for and by Women. However, courses are open to all who wish to further their education (including men). Admission to courses is on a first come first serve basis and is kept small to enhance the learning experience of all. No Student, Instructor or otherwise shall create an uncomfortable learning environment for any attendee. All fees must be paid in full by 7 days prior to the start date of a course. No student will be accepted into a course without the proper class key for that course and required payment. Schedules run in six (6) week increments. Each live web or teleclass course, unless otherwise indicated, runs for approximately 45 minutes to one (1) hour. Self study courses are self paced but must be completed within the 6 week window Please consult instructor for frequency of classes each week.
As of March 1, 2010, courses do not carry CEUs (continuing education units) but plans are underway to bring credits to our courses by late 2010. Classes are currently on a pass/fail basis. Any student attending a non credit class prior to approval of the institute receiving permission to grant credit, will be granted credit provided they maintain a C or better. Credits per course (to be determined) will be anywhere between .5 and 2.0 CEU credits. Once the Institute has been granted permission to offer CEUs, students who have taken previous courses will be eligible to have those courses count towards CEUs, provided they received a "C" or better.
No individual has a right to harass, flame, spam or otherwise threaten or harm another individual. Any questions concerning policies, registration, courses, etc. shall be addressed by the Registrar. Any individual suspected or caught misappropriating or otherwise misusing, violating or fraudulently utilizing any of the Institute's software, course material, logos, name, etc. shall be subject to disciplinary actions and expulsion from the Institute.
Students may choose to form study groups with others but do so at their own leisure but the institute does not accept any liability from any harm or damages as a result of connecting with other students.
Registration & Fees
Advanced notice and registration will be made available to returning students. Registration for courses is accepted up to 7 days prior to the start date for each course or until there is no more space available (whichever comes first). Instructors determine the maximum amount of students permitted to classes. Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE as of the start date of the class. No exceptions. Please choose your classes wisely. There will be a $10 change fee per course if you choose to change courses up to one week prior to the start of the session. If a course you registered for has been cancelled by us, you will promptly be refunded the full amount of the course.
Fees are payable via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, Money Orders, or Cashier's Check. Payments must be made (in US Funds) payable to Empower Me! Corp. If paying via credit card, please note your credit card statement charge will appear as "Paypal.com/empowermeorg@yahoo.com" or "EMPOWERMECO". No cash will be accepted under any circumstance.
Outside the United States, please remit in U.S. Funds by credit card, International Money Order or Paypal.
